Well dude the website looks just like a newgrounds clone. You pretty much ripped the design entirely, making a few minor tweaks.

I agree with you, Nukeyew. It may not get people into the bible, but with the random scripture, christian flashes and all that, there just might be a slim hope.

exuse me, godimation, sir.
but im stuck in ur awesome game, -pursuit-, in the sewers, where i need the fishingrod... i already have the gasoline, and i know that i need the fish 4 the cat, but i tried all the possible combinations of items for a fishingrod... and the burnt-out lightbulbs n my light bulb wont switch...
please just tell me what 2 do! i really wanna be able 2 enjoy this game!

No time for a proper review, so here's a very short one for Vorago:

Pros: great atmosphere, great voice acting (maybe the best part of the movie!), very good backgrounds and character design, decent animation, good flow and length of the story, which is pretty good also, although highly derivative of stuff like Silent Hill and The Mist. Good, believable and well-written dialogue too.

Cons: some puzzles are too obtuse (that is, you have to do things that aren't at all natural or look in places that are too hidden), the mini-games range from ok (the axe one) to horrible (the car mini-game is awful, requiring luck and many, many attempts, far too frustrating).

Overall, very good, but you need to improve the mini-games (or just eliminate them) and maybe think of different puzzles. You should also check out what Ron Gilbert, the creator of Monkey Island and other brilliant/classic LucasArts adventure games has to say on the subject, its a great read:

Excellent games. Vorago proved to be a very dramatic piece that sucks you in.

I know you say that it's a site spreading the Christian word and all, but I think the fact that you don't shove that down our throats on the site and in your games helps those of us who walk down other paths enjoy your games more. So thanks!

But in regards to your site...its too similiar to NG with the exception of a few things here and there. I believe Zombie Pimp mention this already, so I'm just agreeing here. I think the thing that's really getting people to say this is the header/menu design. It's right off of Newgrounds' concept. If you change that, I'm sure no one would call you a clone.

Anyway, I hope Vorago gets more credit. It's truly an awesome game.

The storyline is compelling. The characters really interact with each other. The minigames prove to be challenging. And you don't nix out on the dialogue, and that's good. It helps create the tension.

Of course I noticed the Silent Hill references, but that's ok! lol

My only concern about the game is that I ran into instances where I couldn't find the clues or help needed in certain spots. Two come to mind.

First scene, the crash site. I already gathered the rope and I went into the woods and used the cursor at the other end of the bear traps. I went to the husband, but no rope showed up. People were telling me to use the rope to get the husband to help, but that option never showed up.

I decided to start over again, and this time I was able to finally get the clue (more like queue) from the wife to get Jonathan's help. So I was finally able to use the rope. Thing is, I didn't do anything different than from the first time I tried it.

The other thing is when you're looking for the other tape....it's sort of odd that it would be hidden there when we've clicked there dozens of times before. Normally people wouldn't click there...so I had to check the walkthrough.

I totally cheated, I know. :/

Anyway, even WITH those included I full on enjoyed my time playing the game and I thank you for posting it.

I hope you do a sequel to it in the future. It was a delight to play.

About the game vorago. You had locusts that had faces like people, crowns on their heads, and scorpion tails, but if you think about the vers, it might not be talking about a monster.

I personaly think that it's talking about a helicopter.
1. The face is painted on the front.
2. The propeler looks like a crown.
3 The tail looks like a scorpion tail.
4. Like a locust, it flies and hums.

Your new game is just to put it simply, fucking amazing. The voice acters, story, and challenges, just all perfect to make one of the best point and clicks I have ever played. Also the voice of the father, is it the same acter from the trapped series? If it is can you tell me if he has an e-mail or NG account, I just love his voice acting and would love to complement him.

Stupid me just realized that you made the trapped series, any way please complement the guy who does your voice acting, or if its you (not sure) your an amazing voice acter, hope you do flash for a long time. I also absolutly love your style of art work, amazing.
