I'm catching on now. And I know you aren't targetting all Christians, it took me to read your reviews to know that. But really, what did they ever do to you? Why can't you pick on... emo's or something. =P

Now we are dealing with the case of Christian label vs Christian Lifestyle.

I'm guessing that you've used the bodyguard part to fit in with windows vista security, clever, coz you probably know that Brian Houston (Senior Pastor of Hillsong) also has bodyguards. But for reasons he actually has been threatened, not because of paranoiya.

I think in this episode the Christian dude gets all immature, and silly. "Christian" has just about lost it's definition in this one.

watching the next.
cheers,
Patrick

Cambo responds:

"I'm catching on now. "

I don't think so.

"Why can't you pick on... emo's or something. =P"

Yeah, picking on Christians is unjustified - what did they ever do to me, after all - but picking on minorities is awesome.

The bodyguard doesn't represent actual bodyguards - yes, it's a metaphor - and he's not there due to paranoia either. Christians ARE actually targets, as the "threats" on Brian Houston you refer to show.

This one, to be blatant, is about Christians who bring about persecution upon themselves by antagonising others then getting upset when others retaliate i.e. saying that Muhammed was a paedophile with a 14-year-old wife then getting outraged when Muslims call the holy trinity blasphemy.

The "immature, and silly" part is presumably the list of things atheists do - that's the provokation. Christians are all too happy to point out how godless the world is - in fact, some title their books after it - and yet when anyone highlights Christian ironies they get upset and defensive. Hiding behind Raoul, for example.

So no, you're not catching on at all. And yet, you read my reviews and felt the need to review them yourself. It's really frustrating.

ahaha

Now that one was funny. WORD! ahahah how funny, coz I know people who act that way.

You've pretty much nailed it for people who think it's ok to download illegal music, but heres the problem. Atheists do it. The Pc and Mac ad's generally debate what they have and what not or what is better.

What really comes down is the fact that I can make the exact same animation and switch the roles of both characters, it will still work.

So next time, I really want you to make a cartoon based on our beliefs, not peoples flaws, because it only justifies the imperfections of humanity... Not a Christian... let me give you a simple equation:

Christian = Christian lifestyle
Illegal download = stealing
Stealing = sin.
Christian + sin = contradiction

I'm not saying that your message is false, you'd be right that various Christians download illegal music. But in the context you've made your animation you are very much demanding the very strength of Christians act this way. Try again.

cheers,
Patrick.

Cambo responds:

OK so apparently you're saying you got the animation:

Christian = Christian lifestyle
Illegal download = stealing
Stealing = sin.
Christian + sin = contradiction

But then you say I'm making a mistake because Atheists do it too. Now hold on a second - I'm not saying that at all.

I'm talking about people who feel they have to support Christian artists because they're singing about praiseworthy things. I mean, there are whole industries built around christian music. Now, if you're listening to music about PRAISE JESUS because you're trying to support artists who believe and love Jesus, power to you. But downloading that music illegally doesn't even support anybody. Furthermore, there's an enormous irony in listening to music about the glory of Jesus and his sinless sacrifice that was STOLEN.

You agree with me that "various Christians download illegal music". So you're on my side here. But you say I'm "demanding the very strength of Christians act this way", then patronisingly tell me to TRY AGAIN. How exactly am I saying that most Christians act this way? There was no implication of that anywhere, and you know that too, so you say "in the context" justifies your claim. But the Christians says he's A CHRISTIAN. Not ALL CHRISTIANS. And you said yourself that some Christians do act that way, so you've agreed with me there. What's your point again? try again. Blah.

By the way I'm not saying that atheists are awesome or without hypocrisy either, but even if atheists are hypocrites, Christians consistently make abundantly clear that they're not living by HEATHEN standards, but by God's standards. So atheist hypocrisy isn't an excuse for Christian hypocrisy. That argument is totally invalid. Well done though.

It seriously annoys me when people think they're right when they're being intellectually dishonest. Or dumb, I don't know.

silly.

The "mac vs pc" concept is histerical, glad you immitated the ad.

Now down to the Christian and Atheist. Question, why is a Christian holding a gun? I don't have one, does that mean I'm not being Christian?

Remember, through this animation, you are in fact defining the very core of what atheists and Christians believe in. If not, then you are an idiot, seriously. You can't grab a half assed Christian and think that's what Christians are all like. The Mac ad's make fun of vista, the latest software out. You've metaphorically just made fun of a pentium 1 Christian. Try again.

The point is that perhaps in events of war Christians use weaponry to defend their country against the enemy. But this is not the message you are conveying. Here is a normal Christian dude who bought a gun for the hell of it... Not cool for a Christian.

But trust is a big issue, you've pretty much said in this movie: Hey, I'm a Christian, therefore I can be trusted, but athiests can't be. Wrong, It's an individual thing, even myself as a Christian, certain athiests can be trusted, DUH!! But trust doesn't come in the blink of an eye. You and I both know that it needs to be earnt.

Hope you learned something, I'm gonna review your others now. I'm not offended by this cartoon, you've just presented lack of clarity, that I have clarified.

God Bless.

Cambo responds:

"why is a Christian holding a gun? I don't have one, does that mean I'm not being Christian?"

What are you talking about? Do you define your Christianity by the amount of firearms you own? If a Christian owns in the US, as is his constitutionally defended right, that doesn't mean it's the defining characteristic of all Christians.

You accuse me of making generalizations, but you're the one who keeps assuming I'm referring to ALL CHRISTIANS. So stop generalizing.

"Remember, through this animation, you are in fact defining the very core of what atheists and Christians believe in."

I find that genuinely offensive to think that I'd even attempt to define all that Christians and atheists believe in. That's an absurdity. Where did I ever say "oh by the way lads, this film defines Christianity". You're making generalizations again.

"If not, then you are an idiot, seriously."

Oh, I'm an idiot then for not defining the "very core of what atheists and Christians believe in" in one 30 second animation. That's just rude mate.

"You can't grab a half assed Christian and think that's what Christians are all like."

OH BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING

"You've metaphorically just made fun of a pentium 1 Christian."

So if you believe atheists have a reduced sense of morality, you're an inferior Christian to yourself. Now, believing that a non-Christian isn't of the same moral standards as a Christian is judgemental and absurd. We're in agreeance there i think. But believing that a Christian without the same opinions as you is inferior to you is equally judgemental and absurd, wouldn't you say?

I'm not judging Christians, one of my best mates is studying to become a priest. You're the only one judging Christians, which as you know is for only God to do. So well done mate, you're a shining example of the best Christianity has to offer.

"The point is that perhaps in events of war Christians use weaponry to defend their country against the enemy."

Whose point is that? I'm not making that.

"But this is not the message you are conveying."

I agree. So whose point is it again?

"Here is a normal Christian dude who bought a gun for the hell of it... Not cool for a Christian."

Gun ownership isn't un-Christian.

but even then, the gun is simply a metaphor for morality. The ability to judge. The Christian fears lending the gun to the atheist for a look because he doesn't trust him to behave with the same morality as the Christian himself does. WHICH YOU SEEM TO UNDERSTAND: let's take a look.

you've pretty much said in this movie: Hey, I'm a Christian, therefore I can be trusted, but athiests can't be. Wrong, It's an individual thing, even myself as a Christian, certain athiests can be trusted, DUH!!

EXACTLY. THIS IS WHAT THE FILM IS SAYING. Christians are no more trustworthy than atheists. So? You're agreeing with me? So your entire criticism is in fact backing up what I said?

"Hope you learned something"

Oh I have.

"you've just presented lack of clarity"

Ironic.

"that I have clarified."

Thanks for the clarification. I know now how right you are and how wrong I am.

And thanks for getting God to bless me.
